TRY AGAIN
Well, yes and no. When reviewing applications
for cash assistance the Health & Welfare office looks at each case on
an individual basis. The amount of welfare you receive is based upon need
and the amount of income you have coming in. There is a set amount of
welfare that a family can receive in a month. It is just under $300 dollars
and you can only receive assistance for 24 months in your lifetime. So
having more kids is not the answer.
